2 cups buttermilk self-rising white cornmeal mix
½ cup all purpose flour
¼ cup butter, melted
1 large egg
1 1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup sugar
¼ cup sour cream, optional
2 cups blackberries
Heat a well greased ovenproof skillet at 450 degrees for 5 minutes.
Stir together all ingredients in a bowl except berries. Fold in blackberries. Pour batter into the hot 
skillet. 
Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
